Construction career connection
The 2024 Construction Career Connection will be held on Friday, March 22 at the Boone County Fairgrounds. Schools can register to attend by completing the CCC School Registration Form.

What is Construction Career Center?
A unique field trip for students in grades 7 through 12 to gain hands-on experience in a variety of skilled trades related to the construction industry, including:
- Carpentry
- Electric
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning
- Masonry
- Plumbing
- Small to large excavation equipment
- Other heavy machinery

What is expected of educators?
- Hand chosen students that are preselected candidates for construction careers
- Transportation to and from fairgrounds
- General oversight via a teacher/counselor from your school
- Schedule on when your students will arrive and are required to depart the CCC
