Financing your
education

The Building Industry Association is pleased to offer an affordable pathway to careers in the building industry through the programs at the Enzweiler Building Institute.

Our evening format allows students to work full time while attending school, which enables most students to afford our tuition out-of-pocket. Students can start their careers without the burden of financial aid.

Tuition and fees information is outlined for each program under the Programs Available section.

Students are encouraged to consider the following alternatives that may be available to help pay for their schooling:

Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (“KEES”)

We are pleased to announce that EBI is approved as a Qualified Workforce Training Program by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA). This enables students in several of our programs to apply for KEES reimbursement for their tuition and fees. The paperwork and details are available from Karin Kuhlmann.

Employer Support

Many employers offer tuition assistance. Many plans reimburse students based on their grade performance while other employers pay directly. Students are advised to talk to their supervisors or the human resources department to learn more.

Payment Plans

Each year, tuition and fees at the Enzweiler Building Institute are due by the first day of classes. Students can save money by paying early. Students who need to spread their payments over several months can opt for our payment plan with final payment due by December 2, 2025. Students may start paying monthly upon acceptance or at the beginning of school. Starting a payment plan at acceptance potentially allows you to spread your payment out over several months. To set up your payment plan, contact Diane McConnell.
